DIAKOFTI
Beyond the shadow of a doubt, Diakofti is one of the most beautiful beaches in Kythera! Beach bars across the main beach, but also isolated places where you can use you own equipment. Have a look at the photos and you will be convinced that Diakofti is a paradise!
KALADI
One of the most famous beaches of the island, Kaladi is found at the east side, so, it is better to swim there when the wind is west or south. Reaching the beach includes about 10 minutes of walking and descending by stairs, but do not hesitate to visit this place! Be aware to bring your own equipment, as there are no canteen facilities, umbrellas or sunbeds.

KALAMI
Kalami is close to Mylopotamos and it is really hard to reach! But once you manage to get there, you will be rewarded by the magnificent, isolated beach at the end of a canyon. Firstly, you need to take the road to Panagia Orfani and at the end of it, you have to leave your vehicle. After about 15 minutes of walking and descending to rocks (with the help of a rope which is there), you will realise that all this was worth it!
FYRRI AMMOS (SOUTH)
Fyri Ammos is a large beach with coarse red sand and deep waters. A stony road leads there, but you can find a snack bar, beach umbrellas and sunbeds.
KOMPONADA
It is located between Firri Ammos and Kaladi and one of the advantages of this large beautiful beach is the easy access to get there (asphalt road).
PLATIA AMMOS
In the homonymous village, which is located in the Northern part of Kythira, Platia Ammos beach beautifuly combines sand and pebbles in the whole of this large area to which it belongs. Although its next to the village of Platia Ammos,it has not lost its low traffic. That’s why it is ideal for those who look for calmness,relaxation,water sports, and sunsets that will be forever etched in their memory!

CHALKOS
Chalkos is close to Kapsali (15 minutes by car) and is one of the most popular beaches of the island. You may reach there easily, as there are only 500m. of stony road and you can find canteen facilities and sundbeds.
MELIDONI
Melidoni is a small but beautiful beach with golden sand in the south. Access there is quite easy (asphalt road reaching the beach). You can find there canteen facilities, umbrellas and sandbeds.
